My Current Obsession is the Harry Potter Books/Movies.
Particularly anything having to do with Hogwarts very own Potion Master, Severus Snape.
I had been hearing about HP & what a big deal it was, but I never sought it out. It wasn't until sometime after Movie 1 & 2 were
out on DVD and someone loan me the Dvd did I get into the movie versions. I liked the first 2 movies enough that when #3
came out (and the fact that it was getting good reviews) that I, at age 20 something went to see it at the movie theatre. At that
point I was hooked and had no intention of missing any of the following movies to come. Yet, I still did not get into the books,
but I was falling in love with the Alan Rickman/Severus Snape character. However, his parts were small in the movie. So I
started reading the books because I knew there was more to Snape than the movie was showing; This only fueled my obsession.
After I had read the books, I then went to the interent & found fanfiction regarding Severus Snape. I got hooked and haven't
been able to get enough.
Here I will be referring you to good SS sites & reviewing the fanfiction stories I have read--but only the good ones. There is alot of crappy SS stories out there. I am a romantic and love the SS/HG stories. Af first I thought is was a weird pairing, but once I got into it I couldn't get enough. I am quickly going thru most of the readings. My 3 favorite sites so far are Harry Potter FanFiction Net, Simmering Caludrons, and Ashwinder. I will also be putting up some of my favorite SS picks. I am trying to make some of my own SS wallpapers. Once those are done I will put them up. |
